As well as any other children lives in the Anatolian side of the Istanbul in 90’s and 80's, I was also born in Zeynep Kamil hospital. We all children are considered as half Uskudarian. I spent most of my childhood between one step back of the Bosphorus and Beykoz meadows where I was sitting on a cold concrete alley corridors with my grandpa’s shepherd’s pipe.
I started my photography adventure back in the days of high school under a grumpy impression of Ara Guler’s. After my graduation, I was struggling between conservative middle class which were always concerned with economic problems and esthetical worries of myself. After all, I attempt to go for Economics degree at Macedonian International Balkan University while 2001’s huge economic recession in the country was giving my brain signals like cash registers z reports all the time. Thanks to Almighty that I could bite off more than I could chew and with superiority of Kant’s aesthetics enforced me to change my degree to Graphic design. During that time, I was hanging out at the corridors of respectable Universities, studying psychoanalysis degree, researching about this kind of stuff constantly. By the influence of  Nazim Hikmet’s poems and missing the motherland, I decided to leave Macedonia and its mighty Kant aesthetics adventure behind, went back to Turquie. I luckily ended up studying Academy of Fine Arts majoring sculpture at Hacettepe University.
As all of you, my dear friends knows that a good, valuable art always created at hard times involves sufferings, surviving at the edge of life… It’s like the cherry on top but in a negative way that I ended up with Ankara cold, pushing deep into my veins after all those years wasn’t enough for me that I already spent my youth on Beykoz ridge and Balkans meadows with many hardships at those crucially cold seasons. As well as the Ankara Moorlands cold climate making my beard freeze, it also brought back my fear of aesthetics of myself. I finally graduated in June 2015 with high amount of plaster dust in my ears, marble dust filled in my nose, splinters all over my hands.
